They first met when Matt interviewed Rob for a job! Initially, The Oystermen set out to host first-class oyster bars at marriages and events but with the long-term ambition of opening their restaurant to showcase the finest and freshest oysters and seafood from all corners of the British Isles. Following on from their first gig – Matt’s very own wedding – a year of buzz-generating parties, festivals, street food markets, pop-ups and brewery collaborations later, that dream became a reality in July 2017 with the opening of the first permanent Oystermen Seafood Bar & Kitchen in Covent Garden.
